Definition Linear Solenoid

Linear Solenoids or lifting solenoids are electromechanical magnets which generate (pull/push) a plunger in a straight line. Linear Solenoids consist of a case, a hollow coil, a plunger bearing and a plunger. The bearing and plunger should be free of friction and backlash to the extent possible.
